Jess Remme-Ong

Hi! I'm Jess! (they/ she)

I live in White Bear Lake with my husband, little human, and gaggle of furry kiddos.  I love a good book, being outdoors (hiking, kayaking, gardening, snow shoeing, to name a few), and food!  I'm queer, non-binary, fat, and chronically ill.

In birth work and postpartum doula care, my goals are always the same as yours - whatever your goals are.

From a young age, inequality was shockingly obvious to me and something I often tried to and still trying to grasp my mind around.  I witnessed my first birth when I was 16 and since then have been fascinated and felt called to caring for birthers.  For some, birth can be a revolutionary act.  For others, it is a quiet moment of family building.  For all of us, it's a moment of vulnerability, challenges, and change.

Whether you're a first-time or a seasoned birther, my goal is your goal.  Let me walk beside you, educate where I can, advocate, empower, care, and bear witness to your moments.

We often hear it takes a village to raise a baby, but for many, there may not be a village.  As a postpartum doula, let me be your village.

I look forward to meeting you!

The postpartum doula support has been absolutely incredible in helping with our transition of my partner going back to work. We hired them two days a week for just three hours an day and it has been life changing. Jess is amazing, so good with our newborn and just seems to know what else needs to be done. I’m able to pump, eat, and exercise in the morning without the guilt because I know my baby is in good hands, and they get so many things done while he is napping. Highly recommend ❤️
